this song. wow. so “Maps” actually stands for My Angus Please Stay. it was written by Karen about her boyfriend at the time (Angus). they were obviously going throuh a rough patch. well, in the music video she is crying. which is great because it shows the true emotion of the song. however, the tears are real because when they were filming the video, Angus was supposed to come and watch. but he didnt, and Karen was really distraught about it so she started crying while they were doing the video. so the tears are real. that just hits home. so powerful.
